How can I get affordable safer housing:

 

It is our goal to build safe havens which could greatly improve the quality of life for people suffering from these ailments. Our projects will include:                                                              

·         Safe rooms that can be added to an existing house.

·         Entire houses built of safer materials.

·         Affordable government subsidized safer communities. 

We are currently looking at potential sites developing project specifications and plans. We plan to develop our first affordable facility in Connecticut or western Massachusetts and then expand to other parts of the country. 

Previous surveys have shown that about 65% of the people suffering from Environmental illness earn less than $15,000.00 per year. This is why we are focusing on AFFORDABLE housing.  We hope that we will be to receive loans, grants and rental assistance from the federal government and charities to make these houses affordable to all.   

To receive help from these sources, we have to demonstrate a need for our type of facility.  We must show that not only is there a significant number of people who will benefit from our safe housing, but also that these people need rental assistance and we need subsidized loans to build the affordable safer houses.   

Our survey will help us to determine how you might hope to benefit from this facility and what we need to do to help you.  Filling out our survey can’t guarantee that you will be eligible for a place to live or for rental assistance. But, it will help us to proceed with our plans.  Providing us with this information will be helpful in developing a facility that can benefit many people while remaining affordable.
